At the start of 2007, I had a very strong, sudden burst of motivation to finally go to art school. I'd heard of how good Sheridan is (in Canada), and seriously looked into it. Turns out that for me, I'd be an international student and it would cost me nearly $100,000 by the end of it. I saw no way I could pay for that.. The thought of how I'll ever pay for school worries me; I've heard of grants, scholarships and other such financial aid, but I don't know how/where to start and don't feel I'd even be eligible, for some reason..
I became terribly discouraged and decided not to persue schooling (at that time).

Earlier this year I was searching online for good art schools that offer animation (preferable 2D), and one of the places I came across was Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.

They offer online courses, which I thought would be good for me since I wouldn't have to move across the country.
However...
I..don't want to take schooling online.. I want so badly to surround myself with other artists. I feel so alone in art.

So anyway, I asked about the school here in the Art Scene forum. A fellow deviant replied and is actually attending the school. She said she really likes it, and the thought darted across my mind to do something crazy- move out to Cali and attend that school! (er, but I'd have to get accepted first, lol)

Do any of you know of the school, attend the school, or know of someone who does? What can you tell me about it?
